I.Program Objectives
This program aims to cultivate outstanding innovative talents with noble and sound personality and strong sense of social responsibility, master the basic theory and knowledge of management, economics, horticulture, ecology, agricultural resources and environment and other related disciplines, systematically understand and grasp the general theory and methods of horticultural economic management under the concept of green development, and be able to engage in economic analysis, management services, policy evaluation and other work related to the high-quality development of horticultural industry.
II. Requirements for Graduation
Students are required to pay attention to all-round development and have good ideological and moral qualities, humanistic qualities and a sense of social responsibility. They should master the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills of economics, management and horticulture, and be able to link theory with practice and creatively apply the professional knowledge and skills learned to analyze and solve practical problems in horticultural economic management.
Graduates should acquire knowledge and abilities in the following aspects:
①Understand the nature of the horticultural industry and the basics of horticultural product production.
②Grasp the dynamic interplay of political, economic and production-related factors in the development of the horticultural industry.
③Understand the relevance of the horticultural product production system, ecological environment system, and socio-economic system.
④Analyze the impact trend of consumers and their psychological factors on food consumption behavior in the horticultural sector.
⑤Master the general theory and methods of horticultural economic management.
