The Joint Institute of Huazhong Agricultural University and Lincoln University (Huazhong Agricultural University) (hereinafter referred to as the Huazhong Agricultural University-Lincoln University Joint Institute) is jointly established by Huazhong Agricultural University and Lincoln University of New Zealand and was approved by the Ministry of Education in 2024. The institute is affiliated with Huazhong Agricultural University.

On June 14, 2024, the unveiling ceremony of the Huazhong Agricultural University-Lincoln University Joint College was held in Auckland, New Zealand. Huazhong Agricultural University's Party Secretary Gao Chi and Lincoln University's President Grant Edwards jointly unveiled the plaque of the Huazhong Agricultural University-Lincoln University Joint College. Chinese Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng and New Zealand Minister of Education and Skills Penny Simmonds witnessed the unveiling ceremony.

The Lincoln University Joint College of Huazhong Agricultural University, guided by the major national strategies and local economic development needs, aims to cultivate top-notch innovative talents with a sense of patriotism, international vision, innovative spirit and practical ability through the cross-integration of the distinctive disciplines and the strong combination of the advantageous platforms of the two universities.
