BIO
I am a Viticulturist and Winemaker by trade, now lecturing and researching into this space. My area of expertise lies in vine and grape ripening physiology, grape secondary metabolites and wine alcohol management. I have also been active in the area of vineyard biodiversity, particularly with respect to soil health, as well as in evaluating rootstocks in the NZ context. My focus here lies in enhancing drought resistance in the climate change context.
